May 14, 2007 - - New Bedford, MA - - Mr. Will Donaldson, 35, has been promoted to General Manager at Schaefer Marine based here effective immediately.

According to Fred Cook, President of Schaefer Marine, “Will represents the next generation of energetic young leadership here at Schaefer Marine. He has been instrumental in the development of a number of new products in the last few years and has demonstrated high energy and effective leadership skills. I look forward to Will taking on many of the day to day responsibilities here as I continue to focus on new business development activities which involves more travel.”

Mr. Donaldson earned a BS Degree in Engineering from Mass Maritime Academy and is an active sailor in Newport Laser Fleet #413 and International 110 fleet #54 among his many other boating related interests. He resides in Middletown, RI with his wife Sara and his 20-month old daughter Ella.
